Warrants Operation Results in More Than 100 Arrests

The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office has concluded "Operation No Place To Hide," a week-long warrants operation aimed at serving active warrants across the county.

From September 8, 2026, to September 15, 2026, HCSO's Warrants Section and Street Crimes Units made 667 warrant attempts and arrested 120 people with active warrants. The operation targeted all outstanding warrants, including misdemeanors and felonies.

"If you have an active warrant in Hillsborough County, there is no place left to hide. Time is not a defense, and it's not a shield from facing accountability," said Sheriff Chad Chronister. "Our Warrants Section and Street Crimes Units focused their efforts to track down more than 100 criminals, who are now off our streets. This targeted effort is only one part of our ongoing commitment to public safety. No matter how long a suspect may evade arrest, they will never outlast the sheriff's office."

Anyone who believes they may have information about the whereabouts of someone with a warrant is asked to call 813-247-8200.

Any additional information on this operation will come from the Public Affairs Office.
