The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office is seeking Advance Law Enforcement Accreditation through the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies , Inc., (CALEA). The accreditation program requires agencies to comply with state-of-the-art standards in four basic areas: policy and procedure, administration, operations and support services. This process will begin on February 24, 2023 and continue through April 13, 2023.
