What is the Explorer Club?

  • Introduces youth, ages 11-13 years, to various aspects of law enforcement, develops leadership skills, and cultivates personal and professional growth!
  • Covered topics include: Crime scene, basic patrol tactics, maintenance of uniform and equipment, building clearing, HCSO specialty teams, marching and drill, team building

Admission requirements

  • Youth ages 11-13 years
  • Be of good moral character and discipline
  • No criminal convictions or upcoming court hearings
  • Minimum 2.5 GPA

How to Apply

To apply for program membership, download and complete the Explorer Club Application Packet (some items must be notarized). Mail completed application to:
