The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office is searching for a man who may have found a stolen wallet then used the credit card within it to go on a shopping spree.
Just before 2 p.m. on July 31, an unknown male used the victim's credit card to purchase $3,712 worth of merchandise from the Best Buy store located at 116 Grand Regency Blvd in Brandon. Shortly after, the suspect used the same card to purchase $1,000 worth of goods from the Buy Buy Baby store located at 11345 Causeway Blvd in Brandon. The victim is unsure when and where the wallet was lost.
The suspect is described as a white Hispanic male, approximately 25-35 years old and 150-180 lbs. He was last seen wearing a white button down shirt, dark colored pants and a black baseball cap. A picture of the suspect is attached.
