Detectives have arrested a custodian at a charter school after finding numerous images of child pornography in his possession.
On August 21, 2023, detectives received information that led them to a residence in the Riverview area where they made contact with Mark Jordan, 44.
The subject admitted to creating and possessing numerous computer-generated child pornography images. He also admitted to deleting evidence from his cell phone while en route back to his residence to speak to detectives.
The subject is currently employed as a custodian at IDEA Victory Public School at 11612 N. Nebraska Ave Tampa, FL 33612.
"It is a reprehensible betrayal of trust that someone employed to ensure the safety and work with children at a school would engage in such repugnant behavior," said Sheriff Chad Chronister. "We will not rest until every corner of our community is free from the reach of those who seek to harm our most vulnerable."
Mark Jordan faces the following charges:

22 counts of Possession of Child Pornography, 10 or More Images And Content of Images

One count of Unlawful Use of a Two Way Communications Device, and

One count of Tampering with Physical Evidence.
At this point in the investigation, HCSO does not have reason to believe any children at the school were victimized.
