The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office will virtually honor our heroes who lost their lives while serving Hillsborough County.
Over the last several weeks, the coronavirus pandemic has affected how we function as a society. This year, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 Law Enforcement Memorial Service at the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office. We are taking the precaution to limit exposure to our deputies, other first responders who attend, and the surviving family members of our fallen.
"I want you to know that this pandemic will not stop us from honoring our heroes who lost their lives while serving Hillsborough County," said Sheriff Chad Chronister. "The strength of the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office and reverence we all share for our fallen heroes cannot be broken by distance."
On Monday, May 11, 2020, HCSO will release a video on our social media accounts dedicated to our 16 fallen deputies. We hope you take the time to watch and share it with others in your community to remind them that every day, deputies put their lives on the line to protect the lives of others.
