Man Arrested for Two Overdose Deaths

The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office has charged a man with murder following two overdose deaths.

 

On July 6, 2024, deputies found William Jackson, 41, and Amanda Stephens, 36, deceased of a suspected overdose inside their residence near the 800 block of Richmond Street in Gibsonton.

 

Through investigative means, detectives determined that Ramero Randolph, 36, was the source of the supply. On January 9, 2025, detectives arrested Randolph.

 

Randolph is being charged with:

  • Murder in the First Degree Which Resulted From the Unlawful Distribution of a Controlled Substance x2

 

"Drug dealers profiting from addiction that leads to death in our community will face the full consequences of the law," said Sheriff Chad Chronister. "Thanks to the hard work of our detectives, another drug dealer is off the streets after causing tragic and preventable deaths."

 

The Public Affairs Office will release any further information on this case.
