Man breaks into taco restaurant at University Mall

Just before 4 a.m. on November 17, a man entered University Square Mall located at 2200 E Fowler Avenue in Tampa via an unlocked service door. Once inside the mall, the man walked directly to the food court and jumped the counter at the Tacos Gone Mobile restaurant. He forced his way into the office and stole money, a Samsung tablet and an unknown make and model cell phone. No tacos appeared to be stolen during the heist. 
 
The suspect fled the mall on foot. He was last seen walking through the first floor of the parking garage towards N 22nd Street.
 
The suspect, seen on surveillance cameras, is described as a black male, approximately 5’11” and 200 lbs. He has a short afro hairstyle and was last seen wearing a purple hoodie, red jeans, black and white hi-top sneakers and a black beanie hat.
