The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office is closely monitoring the ongoing impact of Hurricane Debby as its aftermath impacts our county.
In response to the severe weather conditions, our Aviation Unit has captured footage of widespread flooding at East Bay Little League Park, the Alafia River, Bullfrog Creek, and Little Manatee River State Park.
This footage highlights the significant damage and dangerous conditions that have resulted from the storm.
To ensure the safety of our residents, our Aviation Unit is actively monitoring conditions from above, keeping a vigilant eye on flooded areas and neighborhoods.
We urge all residents and visitors to avoid these flooded areas and remain cautious as conditions remain unpredictable.
"Our deputies are relentlessly assessing the rising waters throughout the area," said Sheriff Chad Chronister. "We urge everyone to avoid these dangerous areas. If you encounter any flooding, please contact HCSO immediately. Our team is here to assist and ensure the safety of you and your families."
