The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office is investigating a deadly stabbing that occurred after a neighbor dispute Wednesday night.
On June 17, 2020, just after 9 p.m., deputies responded to the Melrose Apartments, 13642 15th Street North, for reports of a stabbing. Once on scene, deputies located an adult male who had been stabbed in the upper body. The victim was transported to TGH. On June 18, the victim died due to his injuries.
"Our detectives are actively working this investigation and do not believe it was a random act," said Sheriff Chad Chronister. "There is no threat to the public at this time. Detectives have been in contact with all individuals involved and witnesses."
