What is the Purpose of the Grant?

The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office cares about the community we serve and firmly believes that criminals should pay to help make it better. For these reasons, the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office has made available funds which were seized from criminal activity to put back into building our community. We are currently accepting grant applications for up to $1,500.00 to assist in this goal.

Who Can Apply?

Directors or Officers from non-profit 501(c)(3) organizations are encouraged to apply for these funds which can be used for items to improve:

  • Parks
  • Community buildings
  • Recreational areas
  • Recreational equipment
  • Projects that encourage community involvement

Monies must be used for items that can be touched. Applications who place an emphasis on community involvement will receive special consideration.

The organization applicant must be a current board member or officer for the organization and on record with the Florida Department of State or other governmental agency if incorporated outside of Florida.

How to Apply

Grant applications must be type written, accompanied by all required supporting documents,and received within the application period:


April 1, 2021 - April 30, 2021 at 5:00PM EST



Supporting Documents

Supporting documents may be attached to the 2021 grant application. Each document must reference, in the upper right hand corner, the organizations name and employer identification number.

A completed IRS Form W-9 must be submitted as part of the application. Use version IRS Form W-9 Revised October 2018.
