Following several months of investigation, Hillsborough County Sheriffs Office deputies arrested Dominick Shockley, 28, after he burglarized numerous P.O. boxes at various USPS locations throughout the city of Tampa and Hillsborough County.
Shockley had been on the run and had evaded arrest since November. On December 18, deputies located and apprehended Shockley, as he was traveling as a passenger of a vehicle. Evidence of the burglaries was found in the car, as well as methamphetamine. He was charged with possession of methamphetamine and four counts of burglary and theft. Items targeted in the burglaries included mail, checks and individuals' personal information.
