The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect who took a photo up the dress of a woman at Walmart.
The incident occurred on January 31, 2020, at 4:32 p.m. at the Walmart on 11110 Causeway Blvd.
The suspect approached the victim from behind and used his cellular phone to take a photograph up the dress of the victim. The photograph was taken without the victim's knowledge or consent.
The suspect left the scene shortly after being confronted by the victim. He is observed via video surveillance leaving in a white, newer model Kia Optima with black rims (see photo below).
“This type of behavior will not be tolerated,” said Sheriff Chad Chronister. “We are asking the public to take a good look at this video because we know someone will recognize the suspect. Any tip could be the one that helps us find him.”
The suspect's description is as follows:
- White, possibly Hispanic
- Male
- 30-40 years old
- 5'7"
- 165 pounds
- goatee and full beard
