The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office is asking for the assistance of the public to identify a suspect linked to a smash and grab at a Cricket Wireless store on Wednesday.
Around 7 p.m. on July 31, 2019, an unknown black male entered the Cricket Wireless located at 11738 Dr MLK Blvd E in Seffner demanding the store clerk place several iPhones and Samsung Galaxy S10 phones in his bag. The suspect also demanded the store clerk to remove all of the money from the store register. The suspect implied he had a gun.
Prior to the robbery, another black male came into the store inquiring about the iPhone inventory. He is believed to be involved in the incident.
The suspect, seen on surveillance cameras, could be involved in other cellphone store robberies in Hillsborough County.
He is described as a black male, approximately 20-30 years old, 5'7" with a medium build. He has chin hair and was last seen wearing a black "Tapout" hoodie and a navy blue bag with a brown handle and zipper.
His accomplice is described as a black male, approximately 18-25 years old, 5'4"with a medium build. He was last seen wearing red shorts, red shoes, and a white shirt with a dark hoodie covering his head.
