Donna Wallace currently serves as the Director of Forensic Services with the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office. Prior to her role with HCSO, Donna worked with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement for over 20 years.
She fulfilled various duties in her roles as a Forensic Technologist, a Crime Lab Analyst, and a Biology Section Supervisor. Additionally, she served as the Chief of Forensic Services for FDLE Tampa Bay Crime Lab and as the Deputy Director of Forensics for the entire FDLE state system.
Wallace attended Colorado State University and the University of Colorado where she earned Bachelor of Science degrees in microbiology and medical laboratory sciences. She served honorably in the US Navy as a structural and hydraulics mechanic on the P3 Orion aircraft.
Donna and her husband Steve have three daughters. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling in RV’s, boating, and playing with her three dogs and four cats.
