Dawn Reisinger is an experienced law enforcement leader with more than 25 years of service. She currently serves as a Captain in District II, Department of Patrol Services, with the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office in Tampa, Florida, where she oversees patrol operations and deputy development.
Throughout her career, she has held numerous leadership roles across multiple districts, including Patrol Lieutenant, Patrol Sergeant, CID Auto Theft Sergeant, and Corporal in both General Offense and Field Training assignments. She has also served as a Class Coordinator in the Training Division and as an Adjunct Instructor at Hillsborough Community College, instructing police academy cadets.
Dawn began her career with the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office. She holds a Master of Criminal Justice and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Saint Leo University, as well as an Associate of Liberal Arts from Hillsborough Community College.
She is an active member of the HCSO Peer Support Team with her Therapy K9 Keeper. She is a graduate of the Brandon Leadership Academy.
