UPDATE:
JULY 19, 2022 -- The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office arrested a man in connection with a woman's death earlier this year.
Detectives identified the suspect as Darren Austrew, 26. Through investigative means, they determined Austrew assaulted the victim before killing her. He was arrested without incident on July 18, 2022. He faces a charge of murder in the second degree.

JANUARY 13, 2022 -- The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office is seeking the public's assistance after the body of a deceased adult was located in Carrollwood.
On Sunday, January 9, 2022, at approximately 3:00 p.m., a female victim was discovered deceased near the 12000 block of Four Oaks Road. Through investigative means, it was determined the female suffered upper body trauma and her death is suspicious in nature.
“Our team of detectives is currently working to determine what led up to this tragic death,” said Hillsborough County Sheriff Chad Chronister. "No tip is too small to report. We are asking anyone with information to come forward and share any information.”
