The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office conducted a multi-agency DUI enforcement operation on December 31, 2025, focused on removing impaired drivers from Hillsborough County roadways.
Throughout the operation, HCSO deputies partnered with the Tampa Police Department to conduct traffic stops and target impaired drivers.
Operation Results:
- DUI Arrests: 21
- Other Arrests: 1
- Traffic Stops: 136
- Citations Issued: 17
- Warnings Issued: 105
"Impaired driving is a choice that puts lives at risk. Our deputies were out in full force on New Year's Eve to stop dangerous behavior before it leads to serious consequences," said Sheriff Chad Chronister. "By continuing to be visible and proactive, we can save lives. We hope this operation sends a clear message that impaired driving in our county will not be tolerated."
