
Sheriff Chad Chronister and the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office are releasing results from last week's initiative to lower speeds in our region.
As part of Operation Southern Slowdown, teamHCSO’s concentrated efforts on roadways considered high-traffic zones from Monday, July 15, 2024, to Sunday, July 21, 2024.
During the operation, the deputies issued/made:

Total Citations: 301

Total Warnings: 3,434

Total Verbal Warnings: 196

Total Criminal Citations: 85

Total Arrests: 47
