HCSO Arrests Man for Child Porn, Bestiality

The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office has arrested 20-year-old Juan Yap Rivera Jr. for possessing child pornography and bestiality footage. The arrest was made on April 4 thanks to a cyber tip teamHCSO followed up on.  

Rivera Jr., a Wimauma resident, was found to have graphic images and videos depicting minors engaged in sexual activity and bestiality, as well as footage of his pet dog engaging in sexual acts with him. The material was discovered on Rivera Jr.'s phone and seized as part of the investigation. Rivera Jr. used his Snapchat and Telegram to find and store footage. 

"I want to commend our detectives for their tireless work in uncovering this case and bringing the perpetrator to justice," said Sheriff Chad Chronister. "This is a heinous case, and I want to remind the community we must continue to work together to prevent child exploitation and abuse. We must remain vigilant and report any suspicious behavior or activity to law enforcement." 

Rivera Jr. has been taken into custody and is being held on multiple felony charges, including possession and distribution of child pornography and bestiality.
