The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office is conducting a death investigation in Tampa.
On October 7, 2026, at 11:38 a.m., HCSO's 911 Dispatch Center received a call about a child outside saying their mother is dead.
Deputies responded to the residence on the 12200 block of North 16th Street. When Hillsborough County Fire Rescue arrived on scene, the female was determined to be deceased.
This is an active investigation. Any updates will come from the Public Affairs Office.
