The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office is proud to recognize the accomplishments of Chief Information Officer Todd Ryan, who was announced on Wednesday, December 1, as a 2021 Info-Tech CIO award winner.

There were 372 contenders for the 2021 CIO Awards, with 38 winners identified across multiple divisions: Large & Enterprise Business, Medium Business, Small Business, and, new for 2021, Visionary & Growth Leaders. CIO Todd Ryan was recognized in the Medium Business Division.
CIO Ryan has been with the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office since 2000, initially as a volunteer Reserve 2 Deputy. He previously worked in Information Technology management roles with large corporations including General Motors / EDS, Bealls Inc, and Pegasus Transtech. He has completed more than 20 certifications and received numerous awards and commendations, but he says his greatest achievements have been serving those who dedicate their lives to keeping him and his family safe.
