Why/How:

Hillsborough County deputies responded to 507 Oakwood Avenue South in Brandon in reference to a shooting. The complainant (a family member of Thomas) heard shots fired and called authorities.
When deputies arrived they discovered the three deceased males in the backyard of the residence. Two of the victims (Thomas and Black) had been shot and Guadalupe had been stabbed. A fourth victim who had been battered at the scene (Ralph Arroyo) approached responding deputies.
Preliminary indications are that all the victims are acquaintances and were in the backyard together when the suspect vehicle pulled up. The suspects (multiple) went directly to the backyard and a confrontation ensued resulting in the shooting and stabbing. The suspects then fled northbound from the scene in a red mustang. Based on information received via a tip, law enforcement in Orange County just outside of Orlando recovered the suspect vehicle.
