2. AGGRAVATED ASSAULT WITH DEADLY WEAPON 3. FELON IN POSSESSION OF A FIREARM 4. OBSTRUCTING OR OPPOSING AN OFFICER WITHOUT 5. CARRYING CONCEALED FIREARM 6. BATTERY (TOUCH OR STRIKE)

 

 

Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office, District II Street Crimes Units captured one of HCSO's 10 Most Wanted Fugitives featured on the new "Sheriff's Cell Block Shakedown" 10 Most Wanted" that when active

 

On December 26, 2009, a citizen contacted HCSO, DII Street Crimes Unit and advised that John Morrison who he identified from "Sheriff's Cell Block Shakedown" 10 Most Wanted" was hanging out on the corner of Maryland Ave/Alabama St. in Plant City.

 

Mr. Morrison was featured on the new HCSO Sheriff's Cell Block Shakedown website as one of the 10 most wanted fugitives due to warrants for Armed Robbery x2, Battery, and Violation of Probation-Aggravated Assault w/Deadly Weapon.

 

As deputies approached, Mr. Morrison he fled on foot and pulled a .32 caliber revolver from his pants pocket and discarded in on the ground. Deputies chased the felon on foot for several blocks where he was then captured and taken into custody. In addition to several outstanding warrants, Morrison was charged with Carrying a Concealed Firearm, Felon in Possession of Firearm, Resist Arrest without Violence.

 

Mr. Morrison has been previously adjudicated as an adult and therefore was taken to the Hillsborough County Jail where he is being held with no bond.
