On December 24, 2009 at 1232 p.m. Corporal Mark Clark responded to the Publix located on Big Bend Rd. and US Hwy 301 in reference to a non-violence domestic call.  Cpl. Clark met with and interviewed the complainant Aisha Warren.

Ms. Warren and suspect Longstreet then exited the Publix parking lot in a 1995 Nissan Altima four door and headed north on U.S. 301.

Cpl. Clark followed a short distance behind the Altima when he observed the vehicle driven by Warren pull over onto the east shoulder of US Hwy 301.  Cpl.

Clark pulled over as well and spoke with Longstreet outside of his vehicle.

Longstreet re-entered the vehicle on the passenger side and retrieved a handgun from under the seat at which time Ms. Warren became involved in a struggle for her life with Longstreet.

Cpl. Clark conducted a "Drive Stun" on the suspect's leg with his taser, while the suspect's gun was pointed at Ms. Warren, Cpl. Clark and three minor children who were seated in the rear.  Cpl. Clark in fear for everyone's life drew his firearm and fired one time striking the suspect.  The suspect died at the scene as a result of a gunshot wound.

Ms. Warren stated during her interview that Cpl. Clark saved her and her children's life.
