What:	Traffic Safety Checkpoints
When:	Thursday, December 10, 2009 and Friday December 11, 2009 from 4:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m.
Where:	15^th Street & 122^nd Avenue Tampa, FL
Why/How:	The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office will be conducting a Traffic Safety Checkpoint on Thursday, December 10^th and Friday, December 11, 2009 from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. Among some of the items that will be checked will be the following: ▪ License and registration check ▪ Head light/brake/turn lights working properly ▪ Seat Belt usage ▪ Impaired drivers This safety check is to ensure drivers are obeying the law and to keep drivers safe and aware of their vehicles. Traffic maybe slowed in the area of the safety check point during the time the event.
