HCSO Child Protective Investigators Help Supply Holiday Food Banks

 

 

On Thursday, November 19th 2009, local food bank representatives will arrive at the Child Protective Investigations Division to pick up over 13,000 items of canned food.  This food will then be redistributed to needy families throughout Hillsborough County.

Five weeks ago, members of the HCSO's Child Protective Investigations Division began its 2nd annual collection of food for the Thanksgiving season. We hope these supplies will help bring comfort and happiness to those families who are less fortunate and may be suffering from financial hardships.

The media is invited to attend.

Major Robert Bullara, Division Commander for the Child Protective Investigations Division, will be hosting the event and available for interviews.   

Local News Services have agreed to shoot the event.
