Why/How:

Between October 2004 and October 2009, exact times and dates unknown, the suspect Stacey Horace physically abused 7 minor children (ranging in ages 11 month old to 10 years of age) in her home. The suspect utilized numerous means such as belts, electrical extension cords, wooden spoons, hammers and stun gun to discipline the children. The discipline resulted in marks and bruises on the children.
The initial abuse was brought to the attention of Child Protection Investigators by Temple Terrace Police Department on November 3, 2009. Child Protection Investigators initiated an investigation and were unable to make contact with Stacey Horace until yesterday when she agreed to speak with Child Protection Investigators. Stacey was arrested at the Child Protection Office and transported to the Orient Road Jail.
All the children have been placed with family members. |
