Suspects: 

The suspects are described as both Hispanic males, 18 - 19 years of age, both wearing black hooded sweatshirts and blue jean shorts.  Both suspects were armed with handgun.

Vehicle description is: black unknown make and model - 4 door.

Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office is investigating an attempt robbery/shooting that occurred at 8:42 p.m. behind the Publix at Waters Avenue and Hanley.

 

The victim's (3 Mexican Males) were walking behind the Publix after leaving the Farm Store when they were approached by 2 armed Hispanic males.  The males stated to the victims at gunpoint that they were being robbed.  The victims then turned and ran from the scene.  As the victim's were fleeing, both suspects fired several shots at them.  One victim was struck three times (elbow, side and buttock).  The other two victims/witnesses were not injured.   The victim was transported to a local hospital (stable condition - non life threatening). 

 

The suspects are described as Hispanic males, 18 - 19 years of age, both wearing black hooded sweatshirts and blue jean shorts.  Both suspects were armed with handgun.

 

Vehicle description is: black unknown make and model - 4 door.
