Why/How:

On October 29, 2009, please join the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office at the Faith Outreach Center where along with thousands of people in dozens of vigils across the country, we will light candles, bow our heads in silence, and take a stance against the destructive forces of drug abuse.
The Candlelight Vigil will honor those individual who have lost loved ones to drugs and alcohol or those suffering from the disease of addiction. Recently retired Florida Office of Drug Control Director Bill Janes will discuss the strategies authorities are using to fight against prescription pill abuse.
