Why/How:

On October 2, 2009 at 7:53 p.m. Stefanie Northrop was walking northbound across Causeway Blvd. at the intersection of Providence Road within the crosswalk against a green solid traffic light. A 2009 Honda driven by Darryl Ciliberto was traveling westbound in the center lane of Causeway Blvd. when Northrop left the middle safety median and crossed into the path of the Honda. Northrop was struck by the vehicle. She was transported to Tampa General Hospital with life threatening injuries.
On October 5, 2009 Northrop passed away at the hospital. |
