Vehicle 1994 Honda Accord

The driver of the 1994 Honda Accord was traveling northbound on Lakewood Dr at a high rate of speed approaching Brandon Bl West.  Upon crossing Brandon Bl West the driver lost control of the vehicle and slid off the roadway and struck a wooden utility pole with the driver’s side of the vehicle.  The pole broke and the driver of the Honda died at the scene.  The remaining 3 passengers were extricated  from the vehicle and transported to Tampa General.

 

The investigation continues.
