Why/How:

 

 

The 2005 BMW motorcycle was west bound on Nichols road. A 1999 Ford F-150 was traveling east bound on Nichols road and attempted to make a left hand turn into a driveway in front of the motorcycle. The two vehicles collided head on. The driver of the motorcycle was transported to Tampa General Hospital in critical condition.  The driver of the pick up truck was not injured.

 

The motorcyclist was wearing a helmet and other various protective gear.
