At approximately 12:36 p.m., a white female entered the bank, approached a teller and made a verbal demand for cash.  The suspect implied that she had a gun.  After receiving an undisclosed amount of currency, the suspect fled the bank on foot.  The Sheriff’s office was notified and alerts were placed with the suspect’s description.  Within minutes, a deputy spotted the suspect walking on Bruce B. Downs Blvd in the area of 131st avenue in front of Veterans Hospital.  The suspect was detained and positively identified as the individual that robbed the bank.  

 

Hood has been taken into custody and charged with Robbery.
