Sheriff’s Office Help Kid’s Get Ready for the New School Year

 

On August 19, 2009 at 12:00 p.m. , the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, Child Protective Investigation Division will conduct their 2nd annual backpack drive. Private donations provided funding to purchase 125 backpacks along with the school supplies for children currently in foster care.  

 

Fifty backpacks will be delivered to elementary school children and fifty for middle/high school children. The remaining twenty-five back packs are being donated to “A Kid’s Place” Foster Care Center.  The “backpack stuffing” will begin at 12:00 p.m. at the Child Protective Investigations Investigative Support Unit located at 1501 Falkenburg Rd.

 

Major Robert Bullara will meet with the media in the lobby of Child Protective Investigative Division, 1501 Falkenburg Rd..
