Sheriff’s Employees Recognized by the Florida Gang Investigators Association (FGIA)

 

Detective Marc Wilder, Gang Enforcement Section; Awarded Law Enforcement Gang Investigator of the Year 2009  (Employed Since 2000)

 

Since January 2008, Detective Wilder has been directly involved in numerous offenses from gang graffiti to gang homicides. He is the senior gang investigator at the Sheriff's Office and for the West Central Florida region. He’s been instrumental in the “Drak Gang” investigation where numerous “Drak” gang members were arrested for committing smash and grab burglaries. He’s led several gang related task forces resulting in arrest of gang members committing crimes such as armed robberies, homicides, and drive by shootings.  Detective Wilder has gained the reputation as a tenacious, tireless and competent gang investigator.

 

 

Deborah Eash, Gang Crime Analyst; Awarded of Gang Crime Analyst of the Year 2009. (Employed Since 2002)

 

Deborah Eash volunteered to coordinate all gang related information being transmitted to the Attorney General’s Regional Gang Reduction Task force. Deborah Eash quickly analyzes and correlates all the information sent to her by law enforcement agencies from seven surrounding counties and forwards the information to the Gang Reduction Task Force in order to give a complete picture of the success.

 

With all of her duties that involve the Gang Reduction Task Force, Deborah Eash works closely with the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office establishing a tactical analysis of the gang related crime trends within Hillsborough County.  She effectively communicates with the Gang Enforcement Section Detectives along with other detectives from different components of the Sheriff’s Office.
