Why/How:
|
The Horticulture Vocational Training Program located at the Falkenburg Road Jail, 520 Falkenburg Road will be holding a plant sale on Friday, August 7, 2009, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 . The sale will take place 200 hundred yards north of the main public entrance of the jail. All proceeds from the plant sale will go towards purchasing basic supplies for the program such as fertilizer, equipment, labels, and soil.
In addition to plants, JailHouseFire hot sauce will also be available for purchase. Three different JailHouseFire sauces will be sold: Original, Smoke, and No Escape. Five ounce bottles of Original, Smoke, and No Escape are $7.00 each and 1.5 ounce bottles of No Escape are also available for $3.00 per bottle. All proceeds from the sale of JailHouseFire go toward purchasing supplies and equipment for programs in the jails.
