Suspects identified and arrested.

Sheriff’s Office deputies identified the two suspects and both were arrested at their residences on August 6, 2009.   Along with the below listed crime involving the 91 year old victim, the suspects were charged in connection with vehicle burglary in Apollo Beach that occurred on July 11, 2009 where a semi automatic pistol and credit cards were stolen.  The suspects also used the stolen credit cards to purchase$2,087 stereo and other items at Wal Mart and a convenience store.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Suspects:

#1 – White male, described as tall and thin with dark hair.  He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, baggy black shorts extending below the knee and black shoes.

 

#2 – white male, described as tall and thin with brown hair and goatee.  He was last seen wearing a white fedora hat, long polo-type shirt with horizontal gold stripes, black baggy shorts extending below the knee.

 

Vehicle:

Maroon, 2007 or 2008 – 4 door Nissan Maxima with sunroof, spoiler, 7-spoke aluminum wheels and unknown tag.

 

Victim:  91 year old female

              Sun City, Florida

On July 11, 2009 at approximately 6:37 p.m., one of the suspects exited the passenger side of the listed vehicle and approached the 91 year old female victim under the pretense of asking for directions as she was sitting in the driver seat of her vehicle in the Winn Dixie parking lot at the above location.  When the victim opened the door, the suspect reached into the vehicle and forcibly removed the victim’s handbag.  During the struggle for her purse, the victim suffered a fractured finger.  As seen in the bank surveillance photos, an unknown white male later used the victim’s cash card at various locations.
