HCSO detectives are investigating the theft of two tractor-trailers packed with beer. The thefts of the vehicles/trailers was reported to HCSO on Tuesday, July 21, 2009 at 7 a.m. Employees discovered the missing tractor-trailers when they arrived for work at K&N Trucking, 8205 E. Adamo Drive.

 

Around 5 p.m. on Tuesday, deputies were called to an vacant lot in the 300 block of W. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard where the thieves had abandoned the two cabs, both Freightliners. The trailers, a white Lufkin model cargo trailer and a white Wabash model cargo trailer, are still missing.

 

In one trailer was 1,260 six-packs of Corona Extra beer. The other trailer contained 990 six-packs of Corona and 990 cases of Modella Especial beer. The total value of the beer is $70,000.
