UPDATE:  07/20/09 SUSPECTS ARRESTED IN CONNECTION WITH SHOOTING VICTIM FREDDRICK COOKE, DOB: 10/18/78 OF 1415 CHILKOOT ST, TAMPA. SUSPECT: NATHAN WALKER, DOB: 06/03/85

CHARGE: 3RD DEGREE FELONY MURDER AND SUSPECT:

SEAN SENTLINGAR, DOB: 01/01/76 OF 128 SIOHBHAN AV. TAMPA

CHARGE: CHARGED WITH ACCESSORY AFTER THE FACT TO MURDER

 

DUE TO THE QUICK ACTIONS OF DEPUTY JOSEPH FLORIO AND DEPUTY MICHAEL MILLER WHO HEARD THE GUN SHOTS AND NOTICED THE MAROON VAN FLEEING FROM THE AREA AND COMPLETED A TRAFFIC STOP,  BOTH SUSPECTS WERE DETAINED AND HAVE BEEN ARRESTED.

Deputies were responding to call about gunfire when they encountered an adult male in the roadway at 14th Street and Lexington Court shortly before 3 a.m. The victim had been shot multiple times. He was transported to St. Joseph’s Hospital where he was died around 5:30 a.m.

 

The investigation continues.
