UPDATE: SUSPECTS JOSHEPH RODRIGUEZ RIVERA 20, AND LUIS OMAR MORALES CORA 21 WHO WORKED AS FLOOR TECHNICIANS AT THE UNIVERSITY COMMUNITY HOSPITAL WERE ARRESTED IN CONNECTION WITH THE HOMICIDE. A THIRD SUSPECT HAS YET TO BE INDENTIFIED.

Why/How:
|
The victim was behind a medical building that is located adjacent to the Ascott Apartments when he got into an argument through the fence with the suspects that were on the apartment complex property. The victim was arguing with the suspects over some property that he was accusing them of taking from him. At some point the victim walked around to the front entrance of the complex where he was confronted by the suspects which exited a white small vehicle. As a result of the confrontation, the victim suffered trauma to the upper torso and died at the scene. The suspects then fled in the vehicle southbound on Bruce B. Downs Blvd.
