Traffic crash with fatality

Tuesday, July 7, 2009 at approximately 1:19 p.m.
Where:

Lithia Pinecrest Rd and Fish Hawk Trails Drive
Why/How:

 

 

 

The 2007 Ford F-150 was traveling southbound on Lithia Pinecrest Rd and was turning left onto Fish Hawk Trails Rd. The F-150 turned into the path of a 2001 Honda Motorocycle that was traveling north bound on Lithia Pinecrest Rd.  The motorcycle struck the F-150 on the passenger side and the motorcyclist was thrown from his motorcycle.

 

The motorcyclist died at the scene.  The motorcyclist was not wearing a helmet.

 

The investigation continues.
