Why/How:

Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office executed a court authorized search warrant at the residence of Monica Granda and Brian Ferro (boyfriend/girlfriend) on June 1, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. The search warrant was initiated after a complaint was received stating that the house was being utilized as a grow house and the theft of electricity was occurring.
The search warrant resulted in the arrest of the two suspects and the seizure of approximately 100 marijuana plants, $28,000 in cash, 2 rifles, 1 handgun and a 2008 GMC Truck.
