On May 6, 2009 at approximately 1:30 p.m. the suspect entered the 81 year old victim’s residence through an unlocked front door.  Once inside the residence the suspect grabbed the victim and forced her into a bedroom stating he was going to rape her.  The suspect held the victim down on a bed and during the struggle with her; he pulled a large clump of hair from her head.  The suspect attempted to sexually batter the victim and then fled the scene after the attack.

 

Prior to the attack, the suspect had approached the victim at an earlier date asking to do yard work for her.

 

Today, May 26, 2009 at approximately 1:30 p.m.  the victim observed the suspect in the area and notified the Sheriff’s Office.   Deputies apprehended the suspect without incident.

 

At the time of the offense, the suspect was a juvenile and is being booking through the Juvenile Assessment Center.   Mug shot is attached.
