At approximately 12:59 p.m. a citizen called the Sheriff’s Office reporting a burglary in progress at the Royal Palm Key apartments located at 13413 Key Largo Road in the District One area. The suspects had kicked in the front door of the apartment.  Deputies along with K-9 responded and discovered 3 suspects attempting to hide in the apartment.  The K-9 apprehended two of the three suspects (Tressie Ellis and Derrick Innocent).  Both received minimal injury.  All three suspects were taken into custody.
