Update:  Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is asking for assistance in identifying the victim whose body was discovered on April 7, 2009.  Attached is a computer generated photo of the victim’s likeness.   Anyone with any information reference the victim is asked to call the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office at 247-8200 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-873-8477.

Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is working what appears to be a homicide.  At approximately 4:55 p.m., April 7, 2009 a passerby spotted what appeared to be a body in a wooded area.

 

The body is that of a black male with what appears to be trauma to the upper torso.  There was no identification found on the victim.

 

The cause of death will be determined by the Medical Examiners Office.  It is estimated that the body could have been at the location for 24 to 36 hours.
