| Why/How |
The pedestrian was crossing Fletcher Ave from north to south when a 1994 Dodge truck was traveling eastbound when the pedestrian crossed into the path of the truck and was struck by the left, front of the truck. The pedestrian died at the scene. The truck fled eastbound on Fletcher Ave without stopping to render aide or provide information. The driver returned home to report a criminal mischief to her truck, stating an unknown male ripped off her mirror. Detectives responded to her residence and observed damage that matched the suspect vehicle. The driver then admitted to her involvement with the hit and run. The driver was then arrested and taken into custody. |
