| Why/How: |
The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office responded to a traffic crash this morning at 7:36 a.m. involving a 7 year child that was struck by a 2004 Jeep. The driver of the Jeep was traveling west bound on Sydney Dover Rd. The child was chasing after a dog and ran from behind a parked vehicle into the path of the 2004 Jeep. The driver of the Jeep took evasive action however, struck the child and the child landed on the grassy edge of the roadway. The child received minor injuries and was transported to Tampa General Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The driver of the Jeep will not be cited in the accident. |
