Between the dates of February 3 and February 16th there have been several home invasion robberies (4 – 3 in the Sun City Area and 1 in District three area) within Hillsborough County that are specifically targeting elderly victim’s.  In each of the cases a man, posing as a pest control employee has entered the home of an elderly female and started walking through the home spraying an unknown substance with a stray bottle.  The suspect tells the victims that he is there to spray for bugs and acts like the treatment was scheduled with the victim.  In every case the suspect has sprayed the victim on the arm or hand and immediately rushed them to the sink and told the victim that they need to wash the chemical off immediately and remove their jewelry.   In each of these cases the suspect has removed various jewelry and fled the scene with the victim’s property.  There have been similar incidents in Palm Beach County, Florida and they have active warrants for a white male, Danny Miller,

DOB 8-7-79.

It is believed that the victim’s have been followed home from a store or shopping center to their homes prior to these offenses being commited.
