| Why/How: |
The 2005 Mercedez was in the northbound turn lane in front of the District Office. The 2000 BMW was behind the Mercedez also in the turn lane. As Deputy Kevin Cooper was traveling northbound in the flow of traffic, the driver of the BMW pulled out around the Mercedez and hit Deputy Cooper’s vehicle on the front. The impact caused the BMW to spin around, striking the Mercedez.
Deputy Cooper was transported by private vehicle to the hospital to be medically cleared The other two drivers refused medical attention.
Traffic citations will be issued to Ryan Thomas.
